Introduction

This software is designed to manage - read, store, transform - DICOM images. JimboDICOMViewer simplifies complex tasks such as oblique reslicing and multi-modal registration of DICOM images. It enables 3D visualization of brain depth electrodes (Stereotactic EEG procedures). It supports monochrome and color DICOM images (8, 12 and 16-bit images) in the formats listed below :

Uncompressed file formats:

  1. Implicit VR, Little Endian (1.2.840.10008.1.2)
  2. Explicit VR, Little Endian (1.2.840.10008.1.2.1)
  3. Explicit VR, Big Endian (1.2.840.10008.1.2.2)

Compressed file formats:

  1. JPEG Baseline, Processes 2 & 4, 12-bit (1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.51)
  2. JPEG Lossless, Non hierarchical, Process 14 (1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.57)
  3. JPEG Lossless, Non hierarchical, First Order Prediction (1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.70)
  4. JPEG-LS Lossless (1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.80)
  5. JPEG-LS Lossy (Near- Lossless) Image Compression (1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.81)
  6. JPEG 2000 Image Compression (1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.91).

RLE file formats:

  1. RLE lossless JPEG (1.2.840.10008.1.2.5)

Please, note that JimboDICOMViewer is not certified as a medical device (there are no FDA/CE-1 or any other certifications for the software).

Requirements :

JimboDICOMViewer requires the use of a graphic card which fully support OpenGl (>= v2.1). At least 4GO of RAM is required for the segmentation algorithms. Core-i3 minimal required. Best performances are obtained with the last generation of processors (core-i5 or core-i7). Large images require the 64-bit version of the software to process the 3D algorithms.

JimboDICOMViewer is available for :

- Ubuntu 64-bit edition,

- Windows 7 (32-bit) and Windows 8/10 (32-bit and 64-bits).
